Public artwork linking the outlying neighbourhoods to the town centre.Phase One involved workshops in two neighbourhoods of Bedwell andShephall, that resulted in artworks in those neighbourhoods and a majorpavement work in Stevenage Town Centre. The latter took the form ofcoloured tegular paving designs, incorporating pebble and other mosaicforms, utilising the workshop materials as a basis for the designs.Other neighbourhoods are to be added subsequently as budgets allow.Phase one completed and Launched Sept 4 2002. Lead artist Peter Dunn,in collaboration with Janet Ireland on Pebble Mosaic, Anji Archer andHelen Durant in Neighbourhood workshops.Budget: £50,000
